Introducing Fulcrum School
Announcing Fulcrum School
-
A dream school. Handcrafted by pioneering educators. Nestled on four-and-a-half acres of gorgeous Texas Hill Country.
We are seasoned teachers and longtime educational executives who have spent our professional lives building educational platforms. As a married couple working together as founders, we devoted ourselves to creating and scaling the largest global network of Montessori schools. Along the way, we worked with idealistic, inspired friends and touched thousands of lives.
It was great, sweeping work. Now the time has come to leave it behind. We are called to a different vanguard. Our latest project, our latest labor of love, is to build an exemplar of what is possible in upper school education. We have purchased four-and-a-half acres of woods and fields, filled with hundred-year-old oak trees, Texas bluebonnets, a dry creek bed, and old farm buildings. There, we are designing the flagship elementary and middle school program we’ve been dreaming about our entire careers. We are eager to work directly with students again, including our own three elementary-aged boys. We are bringing to bear everything we’ve learned about education over the past two decades to create a dream school for our family and all the families who join us.
Fulcrum Schoolhouse
This year, our classrooms will operate out of a cozy residential home that is pre-existing on the school grounds. The home is transformed into an old fashioned schoolhouse, with an impressive library, inviting study rooms of various sizes for both large and small group work, a screened porch for those cool fall days, and a full kitchen integrated into the students’ daily life at school.
In late summer, we’ll unveil our architectural plans for a series of future school buildings, built in modern farmhouse style, that will grace our campus as we journey into the future.
Our family is waiting to welcome you!
We will open our doors to an inaugural class of elementary and junior high students in fall of 2025. In this first year of our operations, we will serve a close-knit group of like-minded founding families. We’d love your family to be one of them.
We are leading individual academic planning meetings in the months of June and July with each of our students and their families, preparing for our August launch.
